The Giro d’Italia is one of the three major stage races in road cycling, along with the Tour de France and the Vuelta a España. It takes place every year between May and June and passes through various Italian regions, with occasional trips abroad. The race lasts three weeks and includes flat, hilly and high mountain stages, with individual or team time trials. The pink jersey is the symbol of the leader of the general classification.
This year, on May 13, the Giro will pass a few meters from Villa Angela. The cyclists will depart from Alberobello with destination Lecce.
